OK, fender pbass pups, lets' get at it! I have a MIM pbass project going. Bought the body on ebay, had lot's of good parts from another experiment. I'm going to use the MIM circuit for now but planning for the future. I was kind of leaning for the Bill Lawrence because of price and rep, and very quite I hear, but can't seem to get over this "one size fits all" (4-6 string) concept he seems to have going. What about EMG's, and no one out there likes Seymore Duncans? All opinons welcome!

I like seymour duncans, I havent got a clue about their bass pickups though! I think important thing is that the pickups on a bass have a clean sparkly sound so you can adjust it with the amp, which doesnt make it a good idea to buy really high powered bass pickups like EMG's. It also depends whether you like passive or active, (EMG's are active and require battery replacements) and if your bass amp has hi/lo inputs

emgs are very popular on pbasses...
duncans are good also
I would pick the bartolinis first.....emgs second........just my 2 cents
20 years of playing.....and I know some real pros.....so I ask them.LOL
