Taylor 110 vs 210

Hey,

I'm looking at buying a Taylor and wanted to know the difference between the 110 and the 210.
I've played a 110 and loved it but would like a little more bottom end, can anyone help me out?

Looks like the back and sides on the 110 are laminate. Also the 210 comes with a hardshell case.

If you get one, let us know how you like it; I'd love to have a Taylor.

Hmm let me know about the 210 too. He is right about the laminate. I have a 110 and really love it... ive had it for about a year. You are totally right though, it lacks a tad in low end.

I actually ended up buying a Taylor 410ce on the weekend.
It was more than I wanted to spend but I fell in love with it and figured that hey I'm probably going to keep this guitar for the rest of my life so why not spend the extra $.
For the record the 410 is an amazing guitar, I would reccommend it to anyone!

I did the same thing as you! I got tired of searching and went out on a limb (and over budget) and got a near-mint 510-LTD. It's beautiful and sounds great. Like u, this will more than likely be my life-time steel string acoustic.

My fingers are a bit sore as well. It's harder to fret than my nylon string Ovation, but hey, practice, practice, practice. Right?

I've got an Agile AL3000P CSB, but I haven't fooled around with it yet. No amp. Will be going Agile -> PodXT -> Computer when I do.

PS The fellow I got the 510LTD said he's keeping one of his Taylors; it's a 410CE.

I have a Taylor 214 which is solid sapele back and sides with a solid spruce top, ebony fingerboard and bridge. The 210 is the same guitar, just in a drednaught version, I believe.

mmm all you guys and your sweet *** Taylors. I'm still happy with my 110 for now. At some point I would love to spring for a higher end Taylor Acoustic/Electric so that I can plug er in too... that will be a good while I think though.
