The Ibanez is probably ok. The Washburn looks nice, if you can up your budget.
I have a Peavey Grind NTB which looks alot like that Washburn. Also a good choice. Costs a little more, though.

the most versatile (and easy to find) bass is a fender jazz. the mexican ones are excellent values. the ibanez GR (or GSR, or something the starts with a G) is not bad, try to find one that's passive so you dont have to worry about battery changes.
peaveys are an excellent value, just be sure you play whatever bass first to make sure its in good condition before you buy it. bring along a friend who knows guitars or basses to help. treat that person to lunch.

My brother has a Rogue and it plays pretty well from what I've heard him play.

I have an Ibanez Gio. It has a rich sound. The only snag I have found is that it is a little neck-heavy, i.e. it tends to fall down unless supported.

I traded in the Ibanez for a Samick Custom 5-string. Oh! My! I just love the 5-string. It completes the fingerboard and allows one to play two octaves in a short space, It facilitates playing in pretty much every key without having to go way down the neck. Go fer it.
