Yep, don't use a guitar amp for bass at all!
Well, is it a stack, half stack, or combo? Mainly you'll blow speakers, but the circuitry may not handle the fat bottom from bass. I use my guitars through a Peavey XXL head and Kustom 2x15 bass cab and just love the sound for the fat round bottom end. But playing bass usually isn't a good idea through a guitar head and especially through guitar speakers.

Yes, bad idea.
Also, open up your ears and listen - I bet that thing sounds awful.

I cant get a good sound out of a guitar through a bass amp... or a bass through a guitar amp, I tryed it on my Fender Frontman 25r and it rumbled and shook and crackled, and generally didnt sound good.

I play guitar through a bass cab, sounds great! I also like playing through a bass amp too at times. Very fat sounding and more to my liking.
