I've decided that it would be fun and also help with guitar if i learnt bass guitar too. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction of what brands are good, and whether its better to get a starter kit with amp included or whether i should buy a bass now and then get a amp separtately later, although im not really bothered about the quility of the amp its just so i can hear myself.
I have between £100-200 to spend. Also are acoustic basses any good?
thanks

montery make some decent basses for a budget. not too sure bout a bass amp but i don't really think you need one to start with. i personally don't like the sound of acoustic basses, sound too...****.

Musicians Friend. I got (funny, I just ans. this question hehe) mine with all the works for $320. Now IDK about how much shipping is where you live at. Guessing from the pounds symbol that u are from England or something.
