Hey I posted this elsewhere but got no responses. Some1 help a fellow bassist out.
I'm a relatively new bass player, looking for a cool song to play.
I don't want something too simple, that bores me. Nothing to hard, either. A moderate, really cool bass song, recognizable in today's world, if possible.
I'm cool with jazz or rock, if it sounds good.
Please help

Here's a lick from "The Ocean" by Led Zeppelin
Some other good ones to try and play would be
"Dazed and Confused" by Led Zep also
"Money" by pink floyd
The groove to "Rapper's Delight"
"Another one bites the dust" by Queen
"Come together" by the Beatles
If you like newer music try
"Longview" by greenday
My friend of misery by metallica? i think thats the name of the song
That's all I can think of for now,
I have no idea if those are too simple for you or not but those are all fun songs you can play and the everyday ignorant person will recognize them.

"Crazy Train" is a good song, if your into that kinda stuff. Also " Sunshine of your love" by cream is really good too. it sounds great and is easy to play.
