They're damn cool looking. Never tried one, but they are good.
Among the people who use them:
bassists for Gloria Estefan, Garth Brooks, and Alanis Morisette
bassist from POD
Stefan Lessard of the Dave Matthews Band used to use the Dolphin and still breaks it out from time to time

Warwicks are really cool looking. I think I picked one up one time and fiddled around but I dont play bass so I have nothing to report sorry.
Not that it really matters but the guys from Slipknot and Mudvayne also use them. The guy from mudvayne has some serious chops.

Warwicks are great. they play and sound really good but the price tag kinda drove me away. If you got the money to get one id say go ahead. Also Jack Bruce, from cream plays them. And i will also say that Ryan from mudvayne has major chops.

Yeah, Warwicks are super sweet. P-Nut of 311 is also a warwick player.
They are some of the nicest playing and sounding basses ever.
They cost you a lot of money as any of the nicest nicest things do nowadays.
They also make an inexpensive line of basses called Rock Basses.

I just got one yesterday.
Its the first bass ive played ( i play lead ) so i have nothing to compare it to.
Its just got a sweet sweet fat sound and the Almond Sunrise finish looks so cool.

They are nice basses, my only bone is they don't age gracefully like a fender does. An old fender can look good with battle scars, and even keep alot of its value with belt buckle rash, chips, dings, etc. A warwick (which has no finish to protect it just wax/oil finish) looks just...well, beat up.
