I love The Jam, and as a bass player myself, Foxton was an early influence, In The City is a great example of post modern Mod!

Just dug out my Jam CD's that I haven't listened to in about 10 years. I feel like a teenager again.
And just found out that an Ian Moore show I'm going to next month is a double bill with PAUL WELLER. Yeehaa! :)

Is paul still doing his cover song thing? I heard he reciently did a gig of all Jam & Style Councel songs.. but I'll believe that when i hear it myself

I have no idea what he's doing nowadays. I hung it up on them after the "Sound Affects" record. I get the impression that he's been doing the "man and his guitar" acoustic singer-songwriter routine, but I may be wrong. Will find out soon enough.
