Wazzzzuuppp Bubba!

Try and open a MID file off your hard drive and see if that works. If you don't have any MID files on your hard drive then right click on the MID file in a lesson and select Save Target As... Go to the directory you saved the file in and double click it. If it launches and plays from the hard drive then we've got a browser problem. If it doesn't launch from the harddrive then we've got a system problem.

Lemme know

I've gotten a couple of emails about this... the most common thing seems to be people using RealPlayer to access the files.

I've checked and re-checked those files on several different computers and even accessed them with RealPlayer... all with no problem, so I am at a loss as to why a few people have not been able to get them to play.

This is all on the ussumption that those folks actually have a sound card with MIDI capability.

Try what Guitarzan suggests... if that still doesn't work with my files but you can play other midi files, send me an email and I will email the files directly to you... maybe that will work.

Are you able to play other MIDI files? Not every soundcard is capable of playing MIDI.

If so, send me an email at mailto:stonedragon@zentao.comstonedragon@zentao.co m</A> so I don't have to go digging through the registration files to find your email address.

BTW... if you don't have any other MIDI files on your computer and you are using Windows... go to C:\Windows\media\ or go to start--&gt; find--&gt; files or folders and do a search for *.mid.... you'll find a couple of midi files. See if those will play.

Also try playing the files with the windows media player (start--&gt; programs--&gt; accessories--&gt; multimedia). It could be that winamp is not accessing your soundcard right or you don't have the soundcard set up right.

If you're not using windows then disregard all this nonsense.

I had a problem with WinAmp not wanting to load any MIDI files from the web. I could save them and open them from the hard drive but I would get an error whenever I tried to open the from the page.

I never figured that on out. I just stopped using WinAmp for MIDIs
