the action is awesome...since it was used by a good player...it is set up really nice. Just needs a thourouhg clean up and new strings. The active pickups and all the knobs, you can dial in like any tone on this sucker. Gonna make a great recorded bass for me.

I noticed the single string holder thingys instead of a saddle.
How does this affect the preformance?

I don't know if it has any affect. I know that each one has a grown wire running to it though. So that might have an affect.
I just picked up a SansAmp Bass Driver RBI preamp. Wow does this thing have some killer sounds.

That's nice man, I'm happy for ya. Just be careful that your 7 stringers don't gang up on it during the night and have a bonfire. :eek: They might get a little jeaous. :)

Weird the guy I play with has exactly that bass, colour and all, I dont really play bass so I find them quite intimidating things, due to the size. Its a beautifull guitar though.

I use the sans Amp Bass di too, I friggen LOVE it and it's the ONLY pedal I'll ever use anymore (for bass).
