*******Disclaimer************
This is not intended to be an accusatorial towards any company, product,

or person(s). These are just some thoughts I have had for the last 4-5

months...and wondered if anyone else had experienced it as well.
*****************************

About 18 months ago when I found out PC's, me, a guitar, and
some software, can equal me putting the music I have always wanted to
make, or try to make anyway, I bought the 3.X version of n-Track.

(Paid for by credit card...downloaded over the internet through legit server)

Never thought alot of it, except it was easy to use.

Then about 9 months ago, because of some simple VST plug-ins, and my
getting better at mixing and really just listening to music in a production
sense, I really started to like it.

One day, about May or so, I went to Fasoft's site, and asked a question
in the forums. Got my question answered and went on my way.

Almost immediately and mysteriously afterwards, n-Track stopped working.
Out of the blue...it was missing a file...and a few other "problems".

At this time, Fasoft happened to be releasing their version 4 of n-Track.

Which requires Microsft's .NET to be installed prior to use, amongst other
unnecessary things....btw.

:hmmm: Cookies...and other floating files in the ether? :hmmm:

Without going into details, I e-mailed the owner, maker of n-Track,
telling him my version stopped working, when trying to re-install,
my PAID for license numbers no longer were "valid", and
was just generally having problems getting the thing to work.

I gave him the original CC number I used, approximately when I bought
it, and of course my original license numbers

After several e-mails, and his seemingly trying to help me, all to
no avail, I decided to pitch it. I told the guy I finally got it working,
just to end the whole mess.

Anyone else experience this...quirk?

This is the reason I posted about this...mysterious quandry.

Below is a screenshot from Spybot S & D, Advanced settings,
Cookies...

Cookies, that I supposedly want to "ignore" when I scan for crap on my PC that is none of anyone's business and that I do not want on there.

I was never asked by n-track if I wanted this cookie on my computer, or if I wanted it ignored by Spybot.

Last visit?...(see .jpg)

Last activity? There are at least 2 of each of these. (same .jpg)

Is that for the forums...or the last time I used the product, and hence what version I have, and/or should I "upgrade" from a product I own, and was not a subscription service, but a one time product buy.

Again, things that make you go...hmmm?
