Acoustic Bass

After seeing Steve Harris using it on a concert DVD, I was very intrested in this instrument.

Anyone have any opinions on it?

I personally learned to play on an acoustic/electirc bass, but i didnt like it very much. It was hard to get my arm around, and my walking was serverly effected. It does have a cool sound though.
thats purely a personal opinon. For oldtime jazz and walking lines, an upright is nice. :)
