hi i downloaded some player 321 that had codecs for avi and such and i hated the stupid player so i removed it from my comp now when i click to play any video clips it dosent do anything. the only way for me is to open divx then drag the file over. would anyone know how to set it back so it automaticly plays on windows media player when i click on a video.

You could download quicktime, I like it better than WMP, or go to windows update and re-install the latest version of WMP.

that happened to me too, just reinstall wmp, and never dl realplaye..full of crap

Open Media Player, go to tools, options, file types. Make sure that the file type extension of what you want to play is selected as default.
What OS are you running? You may still be able to go into start/run/type "winfile" in the command box. Go to file/associate. type in the extension of the media type you want to associate with what application.

Try RealAlternative.It lets you play real player files in Windows Media Player. Samething with QuicktimeAlternative.

really realplayer slows down ur pc way to much.

the wmp tools option file type tab helped alot its back to normal now thx for teh help all :)
