My first gig ever was as a solo guitarist, playing a few simple christmas songs at a cub scout party. I hadnt been playing the guitar to long, so my fingers were still soft. Well, on of the frets had a little hard to notice flake of metal sticking up and when i did a a slide, schhr, blood ran down my hand and started dripping on the floor, i didnt even notice it until later... but apparently every one else was too freaked out to say anything.

Hahaha! I dunno why, but I have never bled while playing guitar. It's true! A lot of people I ask say that they've bled while playing guitar. So is this weird or is it just me?

I just thought I'd point out that your "bro" isn't around to read what ya said. One post five months ago is all he made. Hasn't even been back on to check replies since.

yeah ive never bled from playing....only string poked. that feels akward. you feel every 1/10th of a millimeter go in.

Yeah, I've also sliced my finger on a fret of a crappy acoustic guitar when the binding came off the neck. Believe me, I felt it :P

Other than that, just the requisite string-change punctures.
