One i do even when walking along the street is try and work each finger individually without the other ones moving! i find this builds a bit of strenght and also helps with more control over your fingers.

Hope this Helps!!

All the best, Paul. :D :D

you might try learning drum rudiments and practice them on the same hand with different fingers

Drum rudiments are really cool, try learning the paradiddle, it is the easiest imo

Drumming each finger, in turn and in time, is good. No need to bang the finger on a desk, just tap it, but make the pressure of each finger even and regular. Experiment with different rhythms.
Squeezing a tennis ball is good muscle exercise - or you can buy a "gripmaster" which does the same thing (and fits in a pocket more easily).

Here's a finger strengthener:

Pinch your thumb and finger togther as tightly as possible for a couple of seconds - forming an O shape. Repeat with each finger.

Wrap a rubberband around the tops of your fingers and keep flexing your hand open.
