Modulation needed.

I am having problems in one of the songs that I am writing the chord pattern for the verse is C-E-Am-F-Dm7-C but I am having trouble starting the chorus in a different key I dont want to change to F but I will if there are no other options can anyone help.confused:

Well... not knowing what the rhythm or melody is doing... this is just a wild stab in the dark.

Amin would be an easy modulation... same with G. What about staying in C but changing the tonality? Is that an option?

How would you modulate to G what would you use as a passing chord?

I would just go to G or any other key for that matter, if that's what I wanted to do. As far as I'm concerned, you can modulate everywhere from anywhere for any reason or no reason at all. But then... I have listened to way too much Zappa http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smile.gif

If you could give me some idea of how long each chord is played, I would have a better idea of what you are up to.
