Hey all....
Had to drop a note here. I am so jacked up right now. I'm 35 and been playing for a year and a half,always improving but never fast enough http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif...
Anyway been hitting this page hard... It is by far the most usefull page on the web for lessons.
I've been working on harmonizing the major and minor scales as shown in the lessons, btw I have seen no such lessons as in depth or as important (in my opinion) on this subject.
Again... to the point. I've been working it hard about a month now and have a really firm grasp on it now. This morning I was doing my thing with it in 3rds (a min)and I started picking open strings as I was moving around up and down with that scale harmony.
**** OH DEAR !!!!! Even though I had no idea what I was doing (other than what I explained above) it was AWESOME. So then I turned up the distortion just a bit and would run with the A Min. scale as I was doing this harmony open string thing.... and it got even better!!!! So good in fact that my wife who absolutely hates my guitar http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif came in and said WOW.
Blah Blah Blah..... I know I could go on and on but this was a big event for me in actually sounding like a guitar player.
So Thank YOU Stone for those lessons!!!!!!
