got the new album. a bit hit and miss IMO but sum good songs on it.

lol.
i heard a part of 1 song in MVC a bit ago and it sounded pretty good. really raw blues if it was white stripes.
i admire them for being as successful as they are with a guitarist/vocalist and a drum player who cant play lol.

I just like how a guy can get song after song in the Top 40 with lyrics about buttons, doorbells, zippers, etc. Kinda like the 50s all over again only distorted.
I don't particularly care for the band, but my hat's off to Jack White, he perceived a need in the scene and filled it. Ain't that what we're ALL looking to do some day?

Pretty good I though, I downloaded the whole thing. Some of the piano based songs I didnt dig as much but they were still ok. Overall I would say 7/10. Seemed a little like a transition album.

But the white stripes are one of my favorite bands, can't get enough, Their earliest stuff is the best imo
