Im looking into a breedlove atlas series ad25sr plus acoustic -> sitka spruce top and rosewood back and sides...i dont know if anyone has tried this guitar but from what i have experienced she is nice...

Rosewood back and Sides and a Solid Sitka Spruce top, you can't go too far wrong...

yeah thats what im sayin man...looks beautiful too...i just wonder that if you get the same guitar only with a martin or a taylor name, it will be that much more expensive just because of the name

but dont get me wrong, i know that if you do buy a taylor or a martin you know you are getting a friggin quality guitar

There's a guy from Hawaii who LOVES those freekin' Breeder's.
Ditto what Priesty says- Rosewood & Sitka Spruce are a great combo. I have a rosewood/cedar top that sounds good also. That's what the Seagulls brand are made of. A Martin or Taylor will be more $$$'s.

Very pretty guitar. Looks like a nice price as well. Lot's of folks really like these (from reading posts on various forums). The Harmony Central ratings are pretty high;

The other thing that may make the guitar cheaper (although there isn't a huge difference in sound) is that the Rosewood back and sides are probably a laminate, rather than being one solid piece...

actually the back is solid rosewood while the sides are more of a rosewood ply...which is the only real difference and wont have much effect on the tone as you said
