View Full Version : I played the WEIRDEST gig of my life last nite

Last nite, we did a benefit for Forgotten Animal Rescue at the Jungle Club in Atlanta. the audience was predominately 40-50 year old lesbians, who wanted to hear Johhny Cash,or Meliisa Etheridge songs. the waitresses were tranny's,and the bathrooms were unisexual. i was taking care of business at a urinal when a female customer strolled in,said hi,and washed her hands,very causal,and non plussed. me on the other hand, i KNOW iwas bright red lol. Our bassist had a tranny following him around most of the night , we had ALOT of fun with that!!!!

Did you invite a bunch of friends to come to the show? That could have made for some interesting episodes.

One of my friend's bands did a gig in a gay bar one time. They didn't know about the place and none of us who were coming to the show knew. It was just, like, "surprise!". It was a pretty uneventful night though, but we still tease them about it a bit.

It was a waitress, our bassist DOES look gay, he has that 'Anchorman' Ron Burgundy hair do,but he is straight,well at least he CLAIMS to be hahaahaha. i was going to send the tranny a drink saying it was from Mike,but wasnt able to!

man this is the most entertaining gig ever, especially the unisex bathrooms, it would be so weird to have females in the bathrooms... I actually think our school has one of those... eww
