Hello all from Rome Italy - Left Hand again? Yep,'fraid so....
Anycase, does anyone have my same problem, namely my second and third fingers (my third twists more than my second) attempt to "kiss each other" (to form a V)so that I have difficulty properly fretting any given note up to about the 7th fret. With this going on dexterity exercises (01234 etc.. )become even more....you know what I mean!

Thanks for any suggestions.

PS: The following has nothing to do with music but it might be of interest to all seeing we use the Web to interact.
PEOPLE install a firewall or any other security software on your PC!!!I installed mine 3 days ago, and since then have blocked 74 different probes varying from back orifice pings to UDP trojan horse probes and everything in between from 54 different IP addresses AKA intruders-heck one probed my system 237 times looking for a way in....!!!

Just blocked another 2 seconds ago..and again!!!

As far as the fingers go... you have to work with what ya got. You may have to angle your hand a little more than "recommended" or shift your hand a little more up or down the neck as you play. The most important thing is to try to keep the hands relaxed and fluid.

Relaxed and fluid! Ill have to remember to keep that in my mind. I was just thinking how my elbow and the muscles between my fingers have been getting worked out lately. Sorta like tennis elbow I guess. I suppose it takes a couple of years to build up the muscles you will be using as new skills seem to demand new muscles. The biggest muscle I seem to work out is my mind as I try to become intimate with the fretboard. But that muscle does not seem to ache. To fluidly move from one place to another.
