I recall "back in the day" in July (when I first started playing) reading in StoneD's lesson one about NOT having to press strings down hard. One just needs to lightly push down enough to get good tone. Well, I mentally understood it at the time but I really didnt fully apply it.
Well, today the thought finally traveled from my head to my fingers! I finally got the right pressure down. In fact, since I wasn't pressing down so hard...I am playing a bit faster too! Heres another knock on the head, less stress on my hand now! Heh.
I just thought it was funny how it took 3 months to travel about 3 feet (from my head to my fingers). I guess I should assume that will happen a lot in the future. http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif
