Looks like it's gonna be a sweet guitar. I haven't seen too many build their own semi-hollow guitar.

I haven't decided on the colours yet. I am thinking of going with a clear with a red tint though. I don't much care for painted guitars when there is really nice wood that can be shown.

Sounds good. I was wondering, since I couldn't see the outline that well, what guitar are you modelling this off of?

Kind of a tele-strat kind of shape with neither one being really the main emphasis.

good looking body, headstock's kinda plain though, but you're way ahead of me! good job:thumbs:

I am wanting something kinda different, but not extremely different. I will be binding and veneering the headstock on this as well as doing a MOP inlay so it won't be too plain when it is done.

Is this going to be a set neck guitar? And, I like the headstock, I think it will go well with your design. Good luck :D

I am installing a trussrod and the neck will be bolt-on like the strats.

I should post some pics of my current build too. I finally tracked down the right size locking nut, so I should be able to move ahead.

Good ole UPS. Every now and then, I find they take an extra day if they feel like it. But its within walking distance of my place. and with gas being what it is, thats how it goes. My relationship with my truck is now a love/hate thing...
