Over spring break I picked up a cheap keyboard to screw around with and do some recording with. I've only been playing piano since the beginning of the school year so don't get your hopes up. ;) I really just wanted a keyboard as a way to spice up my guitar songs.
In this one, everything but the drums and the guitar are played on the keyboard...bass, marimba, piano, and sax. The drums are just a a drum loop that I got somewhere, and the guitar is...me playing guitar. Go figure. :D

Sounds good to me man. I really like the marimba in the background of the song. What kind o f keybard did ya buy cus the voices on it are sound pretty good to me. All in all sounds like some music i would listen too while exploring the jungle or something. Good work.

Wow, Great!!!
I absolutely love the guitar work you did here. All other instruments blend very smoothly also.
You inspire me to keep trying to make my own music.
Very good job

For a cheap keyboard, it's got some very nice voices. Guitar playing is fantastic, your notes seem individually chosen. I like the way you hover around the root note without going back to it when the listener expects it to. That makes for interesting music.
The overdriven guitar has great tone. Sounds like a cross between Santana and Al Di Meola. I think the reverb was too strong, but thats only a minor thing.
That's a really well constructed song, with a solid structure and hooks for each instrument.

Thanks guys. :D
Picture_show: I can't remember what kind of keyboard it was. I think it was a Casio. It's at home right now and that's about 5 hours away from where I go to school.
LeftySG: Didn't need to know that, man. :p
Graybeard: Yup, it's an original.
To everybody else, thanks for the feedback. :D
