Last night,at the Sanderson Center in Brantford i saw a kick *** pink floyd cover band. i was blown away,it was my first real concert i guess, and i just loved it.

The band was called "Classic Albums" or something, they "re make" classic albums by bands like pink floyd, queen, zeppelin, ect. and the line up was this, but i don't know their names.....:

Lead Guitar/Lead VocalsVocals.....voice was almost identical, and incredible guitar player, he really put on a show.

Lead guitar, back up vocals.......middle aged guy, great guitar player and he pulled off everything with style and precision.

Female Vocals.... she was AMAZING.she nailed it. she was the BEST female singer i've seen.

Drums... guy from italy , very good.

Bass..........he was alright, but he looked like the guy that plays Zoolander. :D

Back up vocals, symbols, and hand made effects. This guy put his soul into it,he was very dedicated and is a great performer.

Pianist.

Digital Effects guy,not sure what to call his occupation.....

Sax Player, ****** splendid.

They played every song on the album "The Dark Side of the Moon", then they did a greatest hits section with songs like Young Lust, and when he said "Ok,this will be the last song". i was like, "CONFORABLY NUMB!!! PLEASE PLEASE!!"(...one of my favs...) And that was the last song!! i was overjoyed. after that the crowd cheered them back on and they played Wish you were here.....with no plan to play it that night, they just pulled it off! And they were all so into it,they performed and amazing show.

It was a great band, and when they come back to perform a classic zeppelin album i will DEFINETLY be in the crowd.

I had a great time.

Sounds awesome! I saw a blues/classic rock cover band a while ago, and they did the most amazing cover of Mustang Sally I've ever heard.

Classic Albums Live!

They originated in Toronto. I go see their shows every month at The Phoenix!

I've seen 3 Floyd Sets, at least 3 Zeppelin sets, seen them do David Bowie and a fantastic The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's album.

This month they're doing Hendrix's Are You Experienced which I can't wait to see, and then in August they're doing Floyd's Animals :D

A cover band called The Pink Floyd Experience toured here, they are New Zealanders - but they were really good, I loved it. They tour overseas too.

Too bad I was born in the wrong era

For Zeppelin tribute bands check out "Zoso" they are by far the best Zeppelin tribute in the world. www.zosoontour.com

And for Pink Floyd tribute bands, I've heard very good things about a Floyd tribute called Wish You Were Here.

Reign In Blood, and anyone else in the Toronto-ish area, tomorrow the same event (Classic Albums Live) is playing Floyd's Animals at the Phoenix again tomorrow, (Thursday 31st).

If you can make it let me know, I'll definitely be going (as I do every month, lol) :)
