Building a Lap Steel

The recent thread on slide playing got me thinking about building a lap steel guitar. It looks like it would be a good intro to guitar building and might be a fun project. The ones I have seen in stores were pretty expensive but the link below shows how to build one for about $150.

Thanks for the link. It's actualy built off the same plans that I was looking at but he added some cool mods. I like the EZ bender.

What angle does the headstock th8ing have to be at or is there no certain angle?
