Well, i want to make my own neck for a guitar i plan to build over the summer. the problem is, i dont know how ill put a truss rod into the neck ill build. Is there a website anyone knows of or some tips you could share? Thanks.

I use a vertical mill, but most homebuilders use a router.
CUT THE SLOT BEFORE YOU SHAPE THE NECK
that way it'll be straight, without having to set up jigs on a tapering neck......

If you have a table saw, that can be used also, but should only be used if you are makeing a tilt-back headstock, If you are doing a Fender type headstock, use a router.
And as Martin says, Cut the slot first...
