Ok so this pretty wierd

Ok I'm 15, 16 in December, and I play in my dads band with guys in their 50's just cause no one around me likes Classic rock or anything anymore. Its a fun band and we're gonna do some gigs over the summer. Anyways one morning my dad wakes me before he goes to work and says we might be playing a really big gig soon. And so I asked him whats up. Apparently this guy Big Daddy is on his death bed. He hosts huge barbeques to raise money for charities and stuff because his son in law died of brain cancer. And he asked if Turkeyfoot would play at his funeral party. The bassist in Turkeyfoot is the bassist in my dads band and suggested that we played a set or two. Once I heard the name "Big Daddy" it started ringing some bells... Turns out that Big Daddy is my girlfriends grandfather... Small world huh? So after m dad told me about the gig I fell back alseep and dreamed that they were the same person cause she was really upset about her grandfather lately... Then the next day I told her about it and figured out that was her grandpa.... kinda spooky

Mind can play some amazing games on you.

You might have already knew about her gandfather being Big Daddy, but you weren't aware of it.

Or it might have been just a coincidence.

First of all I think it's awesome you jam with the ol man. Since I am one, I can really appreciate that.

As far as the gig goes, yeah...small world and getting smaller everyday. Hope it's a big time!! :)

And thats where they spreaded Big Daddy's ashes...

Overall the gig could have gone a lot better. We lost power numerous times and we had to cut it short... We got through about half our set. We played Back In the USSR, Summer in the city, Cheeseburger in paradise, Were an American Band, Surrender and You cant do that

Yeah, I know how that goes. (This is Real:) My current girlfriend's step-brother is the drummer of the band with the bassist of my ex girlfriend. And thats seriously true, small world. And btw what kind of Les Paul is that you're playing there?

Its a Stagg LP copy... quite frankly better than the epi's and the lower end Gibsons... Cost me only $285
