This is my practice area. It took me a while to get an arrangement that gave me space to move/pass through as well as open the door to my clothes cupboard. Took a lot of thinking!

^The marshall input is linked up to the preamp output of the curzon. I use it for more volume, depth and reverb. When a friend comes over I just unplug the marshall and use it as a seperate amp.
'Tis my desk. I took this picture a while ago. Where you see that pile of books, there is now a 14" TV (school ended a while ago):

This is my reading pile. First is Total Guitar and Guitar Buyer, then Guitarist, then a load of tabs and instructional books. Behind all that is my maintenance tools, old humbuckers and spare strings.

Okay, here's mine, as of a few minutes ago. It was much more organized/set up for playing everything until a few days ago, but I had to put guitars away (remove my multi-guitar stand and put guits back in their cases) and get boxes off the floor (which are currently stacked on the drum throne) so we could do some stuff with the porch behind the blue & red flower curtains there. Anyway, these are all thumbs -- you can click on them for full-sized images (actually, if you click on the "full-sized" images, they'll get even more full sized!, and then even once more for the ultimate in full size -- damn free hosting service. Anyway, you can figure it out):
Here's my main guits (Les Paul, J-100, P-bass, plus my new L-4A off to the side on the right), V-drums to the left (with boxes of crap on the drum throne!), and bass amp to the left of that. You can see a few mics in there too. Tonight I just broke out that Studio Projects B1 condensor.
http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/5609/dsc002627gx.th.jpg (http://img110.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc002627gx.jpg)
Here's my computer crap (with pedals underneath [and RobotBoy's jam room from this thread on the monitor!]) and my main guitar amp (Tone King Comet)to the left of it:
http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/6894/dsc002652tr.th.jpg (http://img147.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc002652tr.jpg)
My two posters (damn, I still have to get my Chuck Berry one up), Tone King and guitars in cases (which would normally be out on stands):
http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/8167/dsc002673wg.th.jpg (http://img161.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc002673wg.jpg)
and finally, pedal board and assorted pedals, audio interface and general rats nest under the computer. Laney guitar amp can be seen way back in the corner between the bass amp and the computer
http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/4602/dsc002720kv.th.jpg (http://img141.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc002720kv.jpg)

nice 0.2. thats a sweet lookin stack u got going there. what does the curzon sound like?
Without any pedals plugged in, it ranges from a lovely warm Matchless DC30 to a classic overdriven Marshall. It's really good for country and classic rock. You can quite easily nail the Sweet Home Alabama tone, and with more gain get a brilliant AC/DC crunch. With a bit more tweaking, you can pull all sorts of sounds from it, including a sparkly clean eric johnson tone. With a tubescreamer in front and my les paul, I can absolutely trounce Eric Johnsons overdrive tone. Shame I can't play for ****!

This is direct into a roland recorder. I think the solo at the end may have a TS-9 hooked up, not sure though.
Oh and before you say anything about the fact that its RAP, It was a studio thing for some people in my area.

It is cool, and a big step up from our last place (which it looks like we will be moving back too in March '07 :( ), a tiny two bedroom condo with all shared walls [except the ceiling]. Uuugh. I had just a little corner for my computer and my drum set. I basically didn't play guitar (except a bit of acoustic) for the 4 months we lived there :(
But the place I had before that was cooler than what I have now. I had a whole living room, so it wasn't just a studio, but also a jam room. I could have 3 or 4 guys over jamming, plus some girls to watch us and/or join in and help us drink the beers and whatnot, a bunch of cool neighbors (one would even open his door to listen, a few others were players)... Ahhh, those were the days.

yup, Samick RL-3, With the stock pickups the overall tone was very muddy. I put some custom HB's in it and it sings (With some help from TomN), really warm with sustain for days. It has a mahogany body and a quilted maple top (supposed to be book matched but it looks like they had one of the pages upside down) so it sounds very Les Paulesque. 2pc neck as well, though that doesnt bother me at all.

As far as I'm aware. The guy I bought it from told me it was all original but when I opened it up there was a tone knob that the pot was changed and a phase switch was added. I'm not 100% sure about the single coil but I'm 95% that it's original.
I'm probably gonna get a Rio Grande Tall Boy single coil to put in it sometime in the near future.

38 special. you can see the 38 if you look close.
we were on our way back from vacationing in florida and we stopped at a hotel in iowa. and there was a big touring bus outside, so iasked the clerk whos bus it was, and she wouldent tell me. laiter that night i seen a guy with long hair, that was on the hotel computer, and i asked him what band he was from, he said 38 special. so i got my acoustic that i had taken with, and had him sighn it, i laiter got van zants and the lead guitarist of 38 special to sighn it. they were getting breakfest that next morning. it was weird. they were getting coffe and stuff just like everyone else.

ok, here is a couple puctures of my guitar area. and my old yamah acoustic, and my new fender strat that i just got today.
I have that same poster, only mine has a Strat in the background instead of an acoustic. I never use it though. My sister bought it, and I figured it'd be easier just to learn how to form chords instead of memorizing all those.

Is that Paul Stanley playing it in the poster on the wall? I thought he played a washburn PS-2000... With lots of shiny glittering diamonds.
I dig the paint job on the middle guitar...

It's an autographed photo of him, with a collectable pick (mom's boyfriend got it @ a concert). He's actually playing that Washburn in the pic :p Paul played a cracked mirror Iceman too!
Once I get a frame, this will be on my wall: http://www.jgwebdesign.net/jam-session-pics/100_0947.jpg
Got his autograph on a t-shirt too: http://www.jgwebdesign.net/jam-session-pics/100_0949.jpg
I wish Zakk Wylde would come to Ontario, so I could get his. I'd buy one on ebay, but it's just not the same!
Also ordering some posters (Dimebag, Jimi and Zakk) after I get me some pickups.

Hell yeah. The only time I get CDs is when they are given to me. I'm a vinyl-only kinda guy. Infact I just bought the 3 record set "Shut Up and Play Yer Guitar" by Frank Zappa! :toohappy:
black napkins, pink napkins, variations on carlos santana hord progressions are all killer stuff man. zappa said soup and old clothes is one of his favorited from that set.....just so you know.
i'd love to be able to play black napkins but i don't think it will ever happen.

i used to have the zappa stash but never long hair. i don't like it.
not italian but irish so that makes a difference.
i kinda started to feel like a dork. i got all his tunes, shirts, posters, a tatt and wearing the stash like him started to make me feel like a poseur or something so i had to change it.
this is attachment you can kind of see it but i had to shrink it way down and it got distorted. photobucket is down for maintenence so i can't get to the bigger pic.

i see slash on your poster collection^^^. did you ever go to any GnR concerts?
Nah that was my Motley Crue wall. I can see which poster your looking at though, It appears that Slash borrowed his look from early Tommy Lee. :)
And as for a GNR concert, the chances of them comming to Oz are slim, the chances of them comming to Perth, are even slimmer. :). So, if they did come, yerh I would have gone. :D
I would have to say that the worst thing about living in Oz is the lack of concerts, good concerts I mean.

My shelves of stuff, lap steel, slides, drums pad. Epi Valve Junior and box of hand percussion stuff. There are some chimes and a case of Hohner harmonica's on the top.
