Our band has recently moved to a new practice room at our drummers pottery studio which is in a place called brown paper studios they make art and fancy furniture, the drummer hires a room for his pottery stuff.They have everything there to make a guitar, funny looking machines and stuff plus piles of timber, absoloutley everything. I was talking to the drummer last night at practice and he said if I just pay for the wood I can use all the machines and stuff for free whenever I want. I was thinking of just making a body, and buying a neck. I just dont know where to start or what kind of body to make. It's gona be a solid body electric. They have gotgeous looking wood's and stuff I have never heard. So I should be getting started within the next month.

Gav, do LOADS of research, find loads of forums with other builders...

lemmie see...I throw myself at the mercy of Google (I pretty much am a member of every Acoustic guitar forum.. :cool: )

You could, of course, buy old bangers off Ebay and do 'em up...kinda like Dr Victor Frankenstein, or Doc Brown, if you want to create a time-travelling guitar..:p
