Hey, I was just wondering if any of yee have any good backing track websites that you use?

(I'm presumming there's is nothing legal about these sites as it is the users own work etc...)

Here are the websites I use:
http://www.guitarbt.com/ (excellant site - think there having a few bandwith issues at the mo - pity...)

http://guitarchaos.com/index.php?act=idx (BT's are usually great quality - not as much of a selection as the above)

http://www.guitarvoice.com/modules.p...view&app_id=11 ( Great selection - usually really good quality)

http://www.guitars101.com/vb/forumindex.php (Can be hit and miss...)

http://guitarplanet.free.fr/ (Great site....If you like satch that is!!!!)

Have I missed any?!!!

Cheers

(If this breaking any rules I'll edit the post and remove the links)

I dont think that there is anything illegal about it. All of the backing tracks have been created by people and freely distrubited. If it is illegal then it is in the same gray area of doing a cover of a song.

I've been checking on guitarbt the last couple days. They really need better bandwidth managment. Obviously they are the premiere bt site and yet they still cant get a hold on thier bandwidth :confuse:

good links btw

Try visionmusic.com
you need to pay for full access but it is worthwhile- they arewell put together.
The free samples are enough to make your mind up on.

Just going by old forums and stuff across the net it seems that www.guitarbt.com have always been the best site for BT's but they have always had probs with Bandwidth!!! Seems to be sorted now again though!!!

This tread was extremely usefull.
I bought this guitarport a week ago and most of my time online in the past week was spent hunting for tones.
Now I can begin my BackingTrack hunt.........yiihaaaaaa!!

I would advice everyone with a ****ty crate amp but a good pc to invest in one of these.. now.. who wants to buy my old zoom 505II ?
