My dumbass broke up with an awesome girl about 4 months ago... but she wants me back now and I likewise. We went out dancing last weekend(first time I'd seen her in those 4 months) and she looked amazing. We were talking alot and it seemed like we'd never been apart, it was really great. When we finally got into the club we started dancing, and if you are privey to the dancing of today you know that you have to get pretty up close and personal. She turned and just planted one on me, and I'm thinking, Thank God!. One thing led to another after that and things with us are pretty much back to where they were 6 months ago. I'm super happy!!!!!1 :) :toohappy: :D ;)

Well, there is one special person... We get on everso well and we've known eachother pretty much forever - I mean, we argue a lot but we do have lots of fun together, we share pretty much everything. I've never really told anybody about this before, I mean, I don't want people to think I'm...you know or anything ;) - but I think it's time to embrace it. The time has come to stand up and say that I've found somebody very special to share my life with and no matter what anybody else thinks, I'll not be ashamed of it any longer: me and I are very happy together, thank you very much .

September 12th, 2006, 02:42 PM
I was in a relationship for 4 and a half years. We were engaged and almost got married. Then things changed and we drifted apart for a few months and ended up breaking up. It's been about a year, and I haven't had the desire to be in another relationship since then.
I occasionally go out on dates, but I have only gone on more than one date with the same girl once since her. I guess if I met the right girl I wouldn't be opposed to a relationship, but I'm not actively seeking one out.

Think I deserve a new guitar... ;)
Nah, it's worth EVERY DAY.
My bloke is the only person to know me for this long..and a good pal too...he still makes me laugh which must be a good sign. He tolerates all my mad hobbies and is long suffering.. :boggle:
Get Married. It's good for ya! Just make sure you're good friends first. You're in it for the long haul :D

I want to be, but I like my guitar playing, movie watching, game playing free time VERY VERY MUCH, so having a girlfriend would severely impede these loves of mine.

I've been single for a couple of years now which has good and bad points. One very good point is I can afford to constantly buy guitar gear :), and have time to use it.

there is 3 in mine, and TDU my relationship also solves the time to use it problem... DLR said it best "I always say that 3 is better for conversation, incase there happens to be any... I dont gotta be involved.. fuggedaboutit"

Wow, the results are pretty even so far if you put the nos and wannabes together... 50/50. So what's the moral of the story? Guitars and wifes to go well together?

Dating scene is kind of rough around here. I just go out and meet women, get numbers, go on dates... etc. But not in a relationship.
I just had a revelation a couple of weeks ago. A close friend of mine from back in college asked me what I'm looking for. I could not answer her... After thinking about it for a week I realized that this whole dating thing is starting to become mechanical for me. I'm just going through the motions, and not really caring where it leads to. I think maybe I should take a break and write a song about it. I'll call it... La Cita Robotica! Yeah! And it'll be a death metal song in Spanish! And I don't even speak Spanish.

That pretty much sums up my situation as well. I also don't think it's fair to the other person when you are in that frame of mind, which is another reason I 'took a break'. I am kinda hoping fate steps in and at some point I just meet someone who blows my mind. Until then I am just not dating for the sake of dating anymore.
