Ummm... the best way is to start asking some specific questions.

http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/eek3.gif hi dram.......why do you feel you aren't making any progress?? it's usually best to practice 1 thing at a time 'till you get it down -- give us a clue as to what you're having a problem with & we'll go from there.

Don't expect quick results over night.

I'm sure stone will answer your specific lesson and technique questions. So I'm gunna approach this from a different angle. STOP MAKING GUITAR PLAYING LIKE HOMEWORK!. Don't do lessons every time you pick up the guitar. Sometimes just turn it up and make some noise. You will find then that the lessons are creeping in. You are learning and so are your fingers. It takes time, lots of it but it needs to be fun or you might not stick with it. Soooo, sometimes just turn off the computer and close the books, turn up the volume and just JAM.

Dramastic, you stated....."i have memorized all the cords on about every web site ive visted..."

Right there, that is great progress in itself. Memorizing chords.

For most beginners, fingering the chords so they sound nice and full takes calluses, new finger muscles, stretches and of course time.

There are still some types of chords that I need to practice over and over or some riffs that need to have all fingers on the fretboard to play it. So don't be discouraged.
