Sorry I didn't post here earlier... Some places its considered mucho bad form to get started without saying Hi first.
So, Hi.
Whew, glad that's over. :rolleye:
:D
Been playing off and on too long to not be better than I am. Started on Bass as a young lad in punk bands galore. Have held the pocket most of the time but switch out to rhythm now and again as needed. Love me some Yamaha basses... good quality for the money. Currently have a RB whatever 5string and couldn't be happier except for the gold hardware. Bought the Washburn/Oscar Schmidt Dot knock off and it serves well, but I aspire to a Gibson hollowbody some day. Have been looking at the Yamaha hollow bodies as a midpoint, but haven't found a place to put my hands on them. Generally speaking, i enjoy nothing more than the versatility of a hollow / semi hollow body as i'm all about blues, fusion, space rock? (sucha vague term)

Took a couple classical guitar classes at the JC which actually benefitted my bass playing most of all.

So, that's it... I'm here to get better. Yes, Hello, my name is jduck and i'm a crapaholic. I'm about 7 months into realizing that I have a problem and need to get better and more disciplined about one of my absolute favorite hobbies and loves.

jah bless
