Killer. I like the long format. I just streamed it in at work and caught some stuff I had missed. So very cool. Great job, Prez.

Thanks Sixstring! Since the showcase is so active lately, an hour seems like a good length for these casts. There is SOOO much music in there!

As always comments, critiques, and suggestions are always welcome and appreciated.

Prez, thanks for another wonderful Prezcast!

I do have one suggestion for improvement. Lower the recording level a bit. I was able to look at the amplitude and the bass and treble were being clipped.

Still it was a great job, and I am going to listen to Prezcast #4 in its entirety right now with pad and pen.

Thanks! I'm still trying to find my groove as far as recording goes. I can't seem to find that comfort zone where I can get everything to mix just right. But I''l try to eliminate the clipping - I know its real annoying.

Hey Prez! Many many thanks for closing the Prezcast with my Neil young cover. Your commentary realy added some emotional impact for me. I am honored to be included!
I have to say that these Prezcasts are really opening up Showcase for me. It is such a great way to get to know everyone and the great music! Thanks again!

Thanks for listening. More importantly, thanks for sharing so much quality music with us. I'm sure I speak for everyone who has enjoyed your material in the Showcase when I say that the work you put into your videos and songs is greatly appreciated.

Still in a little bit of a state of wonder of how cool this is to set at my desk , or lay on the couch and just let JS wash over me. Thanks Prez, I've allways enjoyed my time here but never as much as these days. In large part due to Prezcast. The best part of your production is the VARIETY. Who needs radio?

Prez

Thanks! You know, you're righ! I can't name ONE radio station that plays Blues, Reggae, Heavy Metal, Neil Young, and the Beatles all in the same hour! :)

This is excellent Prez! I always wondered what the Peezcast was after seeing it in alot of your posts and I just found this today. Really really cool idea. Like Lazy Bee said the veriety is really outstanding.....it gets you to expand your mind a bit to other genres that you might not normaly listen too. Great work!!

Thanks Prez, I really like these, I don;t get to listen as much during the week and sometimes I miss some great stuff, this is such a super way to catch up and let everyone know how much I like the stuff they are doing. I also like it because I am getting into a bunch of different genres that I never used to listen to. I mean how many 50ish folks listen to a lot of metal for instance? I find myself really enjoying the variety on these and there are so many really talented folks putting stuff in the Showcase, it's a shame to miss any of it. Thanks for all the effort you put into these, I think you are doing a great job and it's a real service to your fellow musicians Bro, Way to go!

Wow! Those are some incredible compliments! I'm only too glad to be able to cover all of the great material being put into the Showcase. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. What you wrote is EXACTLY the reason I started doing these - it's very gratifying to know that what you set out to do is being accomplished.

Thanks again.

Prez - Awesome idea, awesome job! Thanks for putting in the time to do these! Also, thanks for including a newcomer like myself. I feel like I just got my 15 minutes of fame. I appreciate it.

You're too kind. Keep playing like that, and your fame might just be a little longer than 15 minutes! ;)

Very cool, man. Another thing that makes this place stand above other sites!

I have listened to all of the "casts" and it's just a real cool thing you're doing.

Our playing is paramount to us. Spotlighting players will do nothing but encourage them to "do it some more!"

There are a lot of great players here with some killer ideas!

Excellent job, bro' Prez!

Thanks! You know, you're righ! I can't name ONE radio station that plays Blues, Reggae, Heavy Metal, Neil Young, and the Beatles all in the same hour! :)KPIG in Freedom California (it's near Santa Cruz). They play every kind of music. Sometimes it's Folk, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Homegrown, whatever. I think they're on a web thing too.

Aside from that, I enjoyed listening to Prezcast one, gonna lie down an' check out #2 now.

Hey I made it to The Prezcast!!

Thanks Prez. The Prezcast is very entertaining to listen to. In fact I haven't been doing music stuff for awhile, but making it onto Prezcast is inspiring me to get cracking again.

Prezcast is great even compared to radio station that play a wide range of genres because... these are done by fellow JS'ers. Can't beat that.

As for my "Mystery Song" yeah, you were right, it is from Street Fighter 2.

And fish taco is good stuff man! There are some great Mexican places around here that makes great fish tacos.
