Hey Everyone,

I am Ben and I live in Connecticut, I am a high school student who has been playing drums for 4 years, and have just started guitar. Well, lets say I have been TRYING to play on and off :D . I stopped because I became too frustrated learning guitar off of the book that came with my strat pack (Fender guitar method). I remember I got to the part on learning chords and they just did a horrible job explaining it (didn't say when to add the chords in or anything, or if you just add them in improvisationally.) So, can anyone recommend a decent teach yourself guitar book?

Thanks a lot and greetings.

-Ben

Yeah, I read this great one, it's called "Get-out-you-lazy-pig-and-find-a-good-teacher" :D:D:D Just kiddn ! The only way for me to learn was to get a personal teacher so sorry i cant help you there. But welcome to the JS forums, its the best site and we're glad to have you joining us !!!!!
