Bass Player New To Guitar (please don't throw rotten vegetables)

Hey everyone,

I love the bass and always will, but I've been kicking around the idea of having a six stringer in the arsenal just to be a better player.

As I type this I'm waiting for UPS to deliver my first gee-tarr. I chose an Ibanez JTK2 (black) cuz it looks cool and it's affordable. I found a new all-tube Crate amp on clearance, so I'm hoping to make some noise later this afternoon (this should be interesting).

I'll spare you any sound clips!
