if installed one of these http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/DiMarzio-500K-PushPull-Pot?sku=987357 along with a HSH configuration on a three way switch, could it be used as an on/ off switch for the neck bucker?
so I could have it on at the same time as my middle, or bridge pickup if i wanted

this is what it is right now, it's currently HSS with 5-way switching but the blended pickups don't mix well, so the idea is that im going for another neck bucker and a 3-way switch for simplicity
and as for either the push pull pot, or the mini switch, i want to use it as an on off switch for the neck bucker i'm getting so i can have it on with either of the other two pickups.
the pickups are going to be a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge, a Gold Fender Lace Censor in the mid, and a Dimarzio Air Norton in the neck

honestly dude,i dont know!im sure it could be done, its just that you would need to do some rewiring.but i dont know if there is any advantages to having to HBs on together, would it not just make the tone all muddy?

actually i honestly dont know about what the two buckers together would sound like, because i've never tried it, but thats what the middle position is on a gibby isn't it? but if i wired it as on on off switch i could also have it on with the single, which could be nice
i'm really just going for simplicity and a five way switch is just kind of overkill on this guitar because the blended pickups dont mix that well, so i'd much rather just have a 3-way. But it never hurts to have options hence the switch.
either way thanx for the responce i was going nuts

Technically, yes- that could work.
But I would recommend this alternative first; Wire the neck pick up to it's own volume knob (for example, the second pre-existing volume/tone knob) and, rather than switching the neck P/U on, you can just turn it up when needed.
This way, you don't need to buy any other adddtional parts and you could knock it out this afternoon.
But before that, how are the P/Us (as they are now) not 'blending well'? And have you taken any time to adjust the pickups height relative to each other to obtain a better 'mix'?

yeah i thought about going that rout but i dont have the pickup or the three way switch yet any way... i dunno im thinking about just leaving it as a 3 way switch without the neck pickup options just for simplicity

Or you could go with three On/Off toggle switches one for each pickup
