I'm settin' up my set-list only at the last minute(it's all about what kind of mood I want to set I guess) And since I'm the one piece music section,...I have to play the softer stuff, like The Eagles, Mellencamp, Seger, Kansas and tunes from a Canadian band called Blue Rodeo(which is REALLY big up here!) which is a main source of my material. To answer if I do my own stuff,...still workin' on it,...got the chords down,...just have to get the right words goin' I guess.

Well,...the day has come, and the day has gone. Played my motel gig tonight,..it went VERY well! Aaah,..some goof ups were made here & there on my part(no one else to blame when you're a soloist),...but overall,..I would describe it as intimate and layed back and somewhat magical! It's too hard to relate exactly what I mean,...but this one goes down as a crowd pleaser. http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif

Not a ton of people,...but an appreciative audiance just the same. The voice was on and the fingers were doin' fine too. Strangly enough, I had requests to do some songs twice! Never had that happen before! http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/confused.gif But I didn't mind. Like I mentioned before, I did mostly mellow stuff due to the people/atmosphere thing. Something close to campfire type stuff. Gotta get into some faster material soon,...pull in the yonger crowd. http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gif
