Ok. I'm looking for the best love song played on either acoustic guitar or piano. We're talking the best here. One that gets stuck in your head and it's addictive.

Hope it applies, you could do it on either. But, the one song that came to mind when I read your post is "Sylvia's Mother" from Dr. Hook.

Heard that when I was young, I could never let it go.

Please Mrs. Avery, I just want to......

Love it.

"Your Song" by Elton John is a real nice song.

I Think a real nice acoustic and simple to play Zep tune is "Babe I'm Going to Leave You"

I Love "Letter to Elise" by the Cure but it's a sad love song and not necessarily guitar oriented.

Great Dylan lost-love song is "Simple Twist of Fate" and of course it's acoustic guitar based.

How about Stevie Wonder "You are the Sunshine of My Life"?

Was Marvin Gaye's tunes guitar or piano oriented?

Not easy but "Guinnevere" by David Crosby

George Harrison's "Something" and "Here Comes the Sun" bout about Patty.

How about "Golden Slumbers" by McCartney - piano right? "Long and Winding Road"?

Hendix's "Little Wing" and "Angel" - convert to acoustic.

Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" also about Patty Harrison and "Bell Bottom Blues".

"Last Goodbye" by Jeff Buckley but you better be a good singer

Other potentials: Van Morrison, old blue eyes Bing Crosby, the Temptations "My Girl", "You Are so Beautiful" by Joe Cocker,

oops - I guess that Zeppelin tune is not a good one since it's about leaving your girl - don't sing her that one!
