We were playing in Philly one night and it was a smallish stage...Well,I had 2 guitar players with 4 amps and probably 20 stomp boxes or more between the tw of them...anyway the guitar player center stage had a loom with all the AC and send and return cables and jumpers between his 2 amps and the selector switch ..etc..etc...get the idea?...anyway it took a good while for me and 2 stagehands to set up guitar world every night.
Well, as the band takes the stage the drummer is adjusting his cymbal stands and the big ride cymbal tipped over...fell off the drum riser and came down on edge right on the loom with all the cables...cut the whole damn lot of them in half...DAMMIT!!!...I had to repatch and re-run all new cables...and FAST,too...
