here's a funny story from my 1st band experience.We did;nt have a singer just bass 2 guitars and a mad keen drummer.He used to show up early for rehearsals just to practice and was always enthusiastic.We practiced at our local village hall for what seems like forever learning loads of rock tunes.We finally managed to get good equipment our own amps better guitars and pedals.Eventually after getting bored with playing without a singer we decided to advertise for one.We placed an ad in the local paper paying a weekly fee and eventually we got a replay.We kind of b.s'd him into believing we were a semi pro band with many gigs and some recording work coming up(we'd only played 1 gig).We showed up to pick this guy up in a friends mum's car(only one of us could drive)and there he was kitted out with equipment like you would'nt believe.Endless mics and all kinds of ****.We arrived back at our rehearsal space at 6.30 where we all agreed to meet.By 6.45 we were still waiting for the drummer(the one with impeccable timing)by 7.00 we're wondering whats happened so we phone him.his reply was sorry i can't be bothered i'm tired TIRED!! we'd spent years rehearsing and then he decides he's ******* tired.He showed up at about 8.00 and this singers clearly well annoyed(he even had to help carry the drummers gear).Finally we started playing a song and guess what the singer had'nt even bothered to learn the lyrics to any of the songs.One bad night.

Well, im christian, so i dont drink beer or pick up women... but i can still say that, being a drummer, my drumming mojo charm is just impossible to resist :D

LOL anyway the person that was originally gonna be the lead guitarist (i was rythm) never got his guitar (hes still waiting for it) i am now the lead and since the drummer didnt show up at rehersals (not because he was lazy, my to friends came over) We thought the guy should be the drummer OMFG he sucked. We suggested he got a bass (we dotnthave a bass player) but he was like noooooooooooooooooooooo anyway, the current drummer was an idiot to me and then we became friends. and John (the other guy)was for awhile too so drummers have all at one point been jerks. end of story
