It doesn't stop turning? Is that it? If that's the case I would think you may have stripped the knob out when you pulled it off and now it doesn't grab the shaft when you turn it.

As far as the amp and tuner... I don't know. That just doesn't make sense to me. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the volume stripped in the full down position and now there isn't any signal to register on your tuner or for your amp to amplify. But like I said, it's just a guess from the very limited and hazy info you gave us.

Do I need to get off the pickguard? What do I need to tell more?

When lifted the controle, I just lifted one side, I thought they were just a snap.

What is the proper way to get the control off ?

Thanks for your answer

Well if it doesn't have a set screw in it, then just pry it off with something. I use my drivers license. :P I put an edge under it, work it up some, turn the knob and work the other side up, and repeat until it comes off. I like to "walk" it up the shaft just to keep from putting an odd bend in it. It's probably not even needed really. Just grab and pull.

If it's got a set screw though, just loosen that and apply the same method above. Nothing fancy about knobs. The just push on, pull off.

I take a closer look at the knob and normally there's a space between.

Something like this;

l l
There's like 2 side, with a little space between the two. If you get you're volume knob off, I think you'll see.

Now:

l \

I don't know if it's clear, When I tried to pull one side of the knob the ''head'' went like this '' \'' And I can make it Up and down as I want.

I'll try to find my camera and i'll takes pictures.

Are you saying that the metal part on top of which the knob lies, is bent? That could be a reason why it doesn't stop turning. Just get a screwdriver and slowly try to straighten it out, but be careful because it can snap of.

That part is called a Split Knurled Shaft and you have to be careful when bending them back and forth. They are very susceptable to metal fatique.

If the knob is off and the pot shaft just turns and turns the pot is bad and needs to be replaced.

if the pot turns and stops normally without a knob on it, than it's just a knob mounting issue.

if the whole pot turns you need to tighten it. Best done by holding the back of it. So you would need to take off the pickguard.
