i have a few questions..whats the best
guitar to start learning how to play with
my granpa has a old guitar..its called a
"castilla" ...do you think thats a good guitar
to start playing with..but i really want a stratocaster but i dont want to mess it up...well help me out ..thanx.i have more questions that i'll probabaly ask later

If you can afford a Strat and that's what you really want to play, I suggest you go for it. I've never seen much logic in insisting that a person start on an acoustic if they see themselves playing an electric. That's probably discouraged more people than it has ever helped.

If you can't afford the Strat, then grab the Castilla and go for it! Buy a Strat when you have the money.

If you have the desire to play, nothing will stand in your way.
