I'm using n-track, and have imported 2 files from a cd on a guitar mag, one is the full version, the other is a version without guitar. But the version without guitar has a count in, so lags behind the full version by a count of 4.

How can I either delay the the start of the full track or bring the start of the second track foreward so that they're in synch????

I want to do this as I can play along with the full version and hit the solo's, but seem to get the timing wrong on the second veriosn, so if I can record with the full verion playing, I can playback with the second version and see how I sound !!

As this is the first solo I've learned, I'm curious to see what I'm like !!!

Thanks,

Michael

At the top of the N-track screen, youll see a few buttons. One button just has the mouse pointer on it (and its probably already selected), nearby there will be a button with a cross with arrows on the ends. Select this and it will enable you to be able to move the tracks back and forth. If you need to move a track backwards, and you cant because there is silence at the begining of the track, you can get rid of the silence by clicking on the little box at the begining of the track and adjusting where the track will start playback.
