best way to record acoustic guitar-mic placements

i have one mic but i could probably borrow another one from someone. Where should i put the mic(s) and stuff like that. Any effects that i should use, like compression, reverb..ect? I want to get that pearl jam acoustic sound. Like on elderly woman and daughter.
