anyone know if there's a pitch correction plugin for pro tools and how much it is and if it works well? also, what a decent pitch corrector for a good price. I just need for small homerecording purposes. also, is it common to use pitch correction on other instruments besides vocals. like guitar or violin?
thanks in advance,

I dont use protools so I dont know, but if it supports DirectX plugins (which would mean Windows only), you can use Antares AutoTune. I think it's $99. I use it with ACID for vocals. Supposedly a lot of people use it, but you really have to tweak with it in my experience to get it right on. It's pretty cool though, although sometimes sounds a bit too much like daft punk style vocals.
I dont use it for anything other than vocals but from what I've read, lots of people use pitch correction for solo's as well.
