cheap recording!

My band wants to record on to cd for very cheap and its mainly for ourselves because being only 13 it would be hard to get a record deal, so any really cheap programs that can record on to cd?

you don't have to get a record deal to be able to record. there's studios that charge like ten bucks an hour.

yea i know but i thought studios cost about 100 dollars an hour cause my friend works at one?

nah there some cheep studios out there. at least in LA there are. There's also probably amatures that you can rent their equitment or something like that as well.
