Loads of companies out there try to flog their microphones and put the label "amazing" and "great" which doesnt actually mean anything...
I'm looking for people who have had (good)experiences with certain mics and would recomend them

how many/where/What microphones should i use for the following

Recording Drums:
Toms
Bass Drum
Crash
Ride
Hihat
Snare

elec Guitar on marshall 100w amp
Bass on peavy 400w amp
VOCALS!!!!! (especially, how and with what)

im looking for names of microphones names and trademarks.. and any extra equiptment that goes with it.

It's nice loud metal music.. don't know if that makes a difference im sure you would use different microphoens if it was soft and quiet http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/tongue.gif
