I need to learn some really nice yet not so hard pieces http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/tongue.gif. Its better if they are in standard tuning in electric guitar http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/tongue.gif

Like I really like the following piece (all 1/4 notes).

Another example would be the intro of "Stay Togather For the Kids" by Blink 182

As you can see, that one is super easy to play, yet so noice. ITs a bit simple, but nice http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gif...I am looking for those kind of things, with a bit more varaity. I would really really really appreciate if someone can name me some parts/songs that are not so hard to play yet nice http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gif

Well I really don't know what kind of music you like but here are a few:

The intro to 'Fade To Black' Metallica
The little breakdown piece in 'Master Of Puppets' Metallica

Just a couple that a lot of people learn right off the bat.

Great suggestions, Melodic! Those are very pretty solos...

Lemme see - notsohardyetnicesoundingeh -

"Knocking on Heaven's Door", as performed by Guns'n'Roses (Slash as the main guitarist). You MIGHT have to tune to Eb. Or just play everything one fret lower...

"I Could've Lied", as recorded by Red Hot Chili Peppers (John Frusciante) <- you might as well learn the whole song it's beautiful.

"About a Girl", "Blew" by Nirvana. "About a Girl" is tuned in Eb on Unplugged in New York I think, and I have no idea what they tuned to on the Bleach album for "Blew"

Now that you asked for songs with nice sounding solos that are simplistic...nothing except rock comes to mind. I have no idea why... but I'm having a serious mental block...

One more:

"Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. Might as well learn the whole thing - the whole thing is well-written...

I can play that part in MOP, and the intro of fade to black (I love it http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/smile.gif), and I can also play Nothing Else Matters (One of the best finger picking solos that I've ever heard http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Oh, and I listen to Punk/hard rock the most...but I try to play anything nice http://www.zentao.com/ubb/smilies/biggrin.gif

Sounds mostly like rhythm parts, not solos.
But eh what can you do?

I am into different stuff so my suggestions might suck wind. Let me think.

Alice in Chains has some nice stuff like that.
"Down in a hole" comes to mind.

"Always with you Always with me" By Satch is an awsome little guitar rhythm that is easy to play and sounds sweeeet.

Or "I believe" By Satch is another good one.

I'll tab em out if you can't find em.

And you can't go wrong working on a D Major walkdown.

Oh, another great piece is "Babe I'm gonna Leave you" by Led Zep. It'a great A minor walkdown and really great to play while someone solos over. It's an awsome jam.

That's all I can think of right now.

anything by black sabbath (iron man, NIB, children of the grave)

clean stuff -
tenacious d - wonderboy
verve pipe - freshmen
led zep - stairway to heaven

if you wanted solos.... oops

Most songs from Sublime have nice-but-not-hard solos. Catchy stuff.
